For over 30 years, Dr. Louis Chaboudy along with the loving
help of Ava, family and friends have worked to restore a true
historical treasure to our area. While the Stone House is available
for private functions, it is also a realization that is must
be open and accessible to the general public.
On Saturday
October 1st and Sunday the 2nd, The Portsmouth Stone House will
be open to the general public from 11:00 am until 5:00 PM both
days. Cost for admission will be $2.00 per person.
We are working
to bring consistent hours of operation to the house, and will
have further updates in the next few weeks.
We are excited
about the opportunity to share with you one of the area's most
exciting and authentic historical locations. For any other inquires,
please fill out our facilities report on the rate page.
Thank you
for your interest in The Portsmouth Stone House, the birthplace
